Definitely. Once when I worked at Target a woman ran back and forth snatching our display TV’s. Her get away driver pulled right up to the door with his truck. When she tried escaping, our security officer chased her. She slipped and fell and her getaway driver drove over

A few lost products are basically worthless to large retailers. The markups are so massive it’s crazy, even at 75% off they make a killing. Better to let them walk with bricked devices and restock the floor than risk an assault on an employee
