People always look at a surface level, they see a meme of the Amazon Burning and they think the world is over, but it is actually a completely normal thing

Bolsonaro signed a deal with EU that was really bad for French farmers. Macron is extremely unpopular. He needed an external enemy and to blow the deal. This story was a huge PR stunt from Macron. Several countries threatened to cancel the deal over the avg and regular fires.
