Totally agree with this, except, I would get fish and chips at Malibu Seafood.

Although it’s good, Neptune’s bet when heading north from LA gives you a long scenic route and Neptune’s Net has that cool biker atmosphere. Def something I would recommend to a tourist despite the fact that I pick Malibu seafood myself

Agreed, simple solution is eat at Malibu Seafood, and have a drink or desert or both at Neptune's.

And check out all the cool dispensaries on the way up to Washington. Just keep an eye out for Green Crosses and remember driving stoned is still DUI but not sure how in the world it’s gonna be enforced.

Did this but started in San Clemente/Dana point. It’s amazing how rejuvenating a simple drive up the coast can be... and it costs nothing but a few gallons of gasoline and a few hours of your time.
