The way black WWII veterans were treated when they returned home is an issue people should think about more, especially those who claim to support the troops.

Well only the soldiers agreed, anyone else I don’t think so. Just make it Law and Policy practice to never do it again. Lots of benefits which descendants of soldiers from WW2 are denied all the time no matter the skin color.

This is a wrong that we can and should make right. There will be records, direct descendants that can benefit and clear understand as to who was wrong (in this case the Department of Defense.) That is not the case for reparation because of slavery.
