they can stop putting in the water....try getting local council to do it though..there's big money behind it...we tried here in Memphis which supposedly has best water in country, we produced scientific studies there is no safe level of fluoride but they only reduced the levels

The negative effects of fluoride have been known for decades. There is no reason to add fluoride to drinking water. Unfortunately, there isn't a water filter a person can buy to totally filter out fluoride.

I am confused does this apply only to drinking water directly from the tap or what?? I've never met anyone who does that. It's always fridge dispenser water, a filtered container inside the fridge or at least bottled water. I drink bottled most of the time and my Life Straw.
