Yup. Non-GMO food & drinks, much less pharmaceutical drugs back in 1969. People were more physically active back then too (no internet/i-phone, video game distractions etc).

Funny Story. Our Heavyweight in High School Wrestling was 6,'2" 230 lbs. He was literally the only over weight guy we had on the team. By today's standards he would be considered "Muscular and fit". When my youngest son wrestled, 300+ lbs was not abnormal.
