Agreed. 8 months was when i got over the hump of saying "parenting is hard" all the time.

I lucked out, great from the start. However challenging starts when teenhood does, I got a firm hold of the reins annnnd they turned out fine.

“Reportedly”? Yeah, I have 4. It’s tiring-> joyful -> infuriating-> great (Great starts around 15, IMHO)

Tons of work for the first few months, wonderful for the next decade or so, then on and off frustrating for a few years, after that, it depends on the kids and how well you raised them.

Teenage years are great! You have more than 10 years to get them on the right course before that.

I actually enjoy the first 3-6 months when they don’t move around much haha. Always where you left them. Then, they start moving around and the adventure begins.

@_Kevin_Pham Teenage years is a made up construct of the 20th century to slow down responsibility into adulthood. We have 3 boys. They question and confront. Our job is to love and support but offer structure and leadership. It's very tough guys but worth it.

Parenthood is spending the first 2 years teaching them to walk and talk, only to spend the next 16 years telling them to shut up and sit down.

I loved raising teenagers, teenage girls are so much fun

First couple of years can be rough but ton of fun. Then they're super amazing and then they turn into shit heads. If you did your job right it's a good chance they'll turn back to being super amazing. Not always though.
