I only bring up that the DNA of the fetus is unique, and not that of the woman. Not my burden to bare. But, just something to think about before terminating its life.

File for an assistance case to cover medical, food and such. Do online classes to finish schooling. The local school counselors can guide you to a program that has credits they will accept. Too, state sponsored GED programs are available to help you bone up on deficient areas.

I also disagree with Steve King - BUT I admit that my position on the matter is pragmatic, not moral. Although I can form a very compelling pragmatic argument for abortion in the case of rape, his position remains consistently moral and I have to respect that.

We need to turn it around to save innocent lives. Carrying the rapist's baby to term is a huge burden. Presumably eternal damnation would be worse, but perhap we can find a positive incentive. Otherwise, we've done our best and accept God's will.

K but bringing up that part of our past is wrapped up in rape/incest (keeping in mind that there were no contraceptives/abortions) isn't really relevant then is it? It's an ought question to which his position is that rape/incest is essentially cultural and that justifies it.

I have a best friend born from rape. God, what the world would have missed if his mother had aborted him. Makes me cry just thinking about the love she has for an innocent born from so much hate.
