Have you ever tried to read Malory’s Le Morte D’Arthur? The wording is a lot like reading the Bible.

My parents were devout Christians but we read voraciously. -- Hardy Boys. -- Nancy Drew. -- The Famous Five. -- The Secret Seven. -- The Chronicles of Narnia. -- All J.R. Tolkien books. -- Zane Grey books.

Were you resentful of your parents for your strict upbringing?

I read The Road Less Traveled by M Scott Peck as a college freshman. I still think about it's concepts. Delaying gratification and grace. A book everyone should read.
