He was working on blight projects for YEARS, in total obscurity. He did a podcast with @ScottAdamsSays on this years ago.
His important work was ignored, "blight is boring."
Now he has found a way to amplify it.

No one who has ever worked for or given substantially to a charity accuses people of "doing it for attention." Because we know the end result is what matters.
Just like @ScottPresler drawing criticism when he helped clean up Baltimore.
Some people only want to complain all the time.

That’s how the truly selfish & entitled people enter the conversation. They despise philanthropy because it reminds them that some are receiving what they believe *they* should have. They see it as a HANDOUT rather than lovely gestures for needy. Ugly hearts. Spiritual vampires.
I only know of him from his Twitter feed. He seems like a wanna be game show host.
My grandkids, the wife and I have filled up the pickup truck every year for Toys for Tots. It teaches the young ones about giving with their own earned money.
Great work. As a recipient of these great program, in the 5th grade, I always remember the spin art machine I received. Spent hours on Christmas vacation with that toy. 
Recipients don’t forget, and do pass it on.
We do it for ourselves. Could care less what others think.
They despise charity because it shows we do not need the government redistributing people’s money for people’s lives to be improved. And that’s what they want - charity forced by the government at the of the barrel of confiscation. Plus they give nothing and know they should.
