If a simulated being feels pain, can be frightened and is self aware there is no difference to a real being. On what substrate we run (green goo, or grey goo) makes no difference. If Twitter runs on an iPhone or an Samsung, it is still the same principle at work.

@nytimes We absolutely are living in a computer simulation. I can prove it. The satellites "guide" us, with mathematically impossible precision. Would have to be a target in the program to see it. It's amazing, the technology, but not fair to anyone in IT. Everyone's controlled.

What if the point of the simulation is to see how long it takes for us to figure out it's a simulation (and then perhaps create more simulations within the simulation)?

If we are living in a simulation, where are the cheat codes? I need Invisibility and Unlimited Money.
