Imagine that. Female self-value is being empowered from all angles, while male self-value is being diminished. Poor kids don't stand a chance, get drilled into their heads that they're useless.

I have noticed a lot more women using the free weight area. Besides that I see the same 12 guys in the gym everyday. But it wouldn’t surprise me if male participation is down

My little boys are joining the local swin team as soon as they turn 6 and anytime we go to the gym they do as well. Our oldest (3) already lifts small weights, works out with his daddy and spars with him from time to time. More parents need to get on our gravy train.

Overall kids participation in sports is down as per @foxnews with obesity what it is today it wudnt surprise me people just giving up. Maybe younger generation smokes too much weed =low motivation to go to gym.

Out running I probably meet roughly equal numbers of male and female runners. Local gyms still dominated by males working out. Yoga class just one male, me!

Definitely more females at my gym daily, and they go harder than most of the men in there to.

Triathlons and golf are two things that are both time consuming and expensive. something younger generation doesn’t have the luxury/want of having. Participation in both these things are down

Male participation could remain steady and a large increase in women would give the perception of less men who are interested.
