Trump's tweets were quoted almost verbatim in the El Paso shooter's manifesto. The two situations are not remotely comparable.

You know extremists are reading you. It's confirmed one mass terrorist was a fan. Castro knows this, too. You should ask how your own rhetoric is contributing to a climate of violence. Your messaging is angry, violent, and incites. Be better.

Did the Dayton shooter attack the mentioned group (lawmakers)? Did his attack have an explicit political message? Did he write a manifesto? If any of those answers are no, the situations aren’t comparable
