They essentially voted to send 500 people back to prison who were finishing their sentences at these halfway houses where they could work jobs in the community and try to become productive members of society again. Also put the staff of those halfway houses out of jobs. Way to go

I still don't understand how they can obstruct Federal Law. I know states can have their own laws but there are Federal Laws and Federal Departments that are above that. But then again, these days some people seem to be above the law.

Wow. Unbelievable, now the people being detained won’t have beds, pillows, blankets, tooth paste, toothbrush, etc.
