I’m afraid that’s a good question, even if we’ll never know the answer?

seems like he was planning something and then something happened with his sister and he decided to just go out guns blazing.

I know they were both wearing big earmuffs for hearing protection. Which is a very strange thing to do if you're on a potentially suicidal killing spree. Seems like maybe they just repeated something they are taught to do...both of them

Unlike the El Paso shooter, we don't yet know the Dayton shooter's motive. It may have been leftist inspired violence, but shooting his own sister and primarily black Americans doesn't quite fit that narrative.

No, its completely irresponsible conjecture.

He had just been dumped 2 months prior and was very mentally unstable. He was also at a bar drinking making him more unstable. Add on a shooting with violent rhetoric all day and I believe it was the perfect storm for his unstable brain to snap in. Read his ex gfs medium from Ali

If he was planning something, seeing the El Paso shooting may have at least moved up his timeline. He may have thought he would steal the limelight at its brightest, but that hasn’t happened as the Dayton shooting has gotten very little coverage compared to El Paso.

It's a plausible hypothesis. It's also possible that he did this right after the El Paso shooting to put even more pressure on Congress to pass gun control legislation, since we know he supported leftist politicians who want gun control.

C'mon man, there's .0000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% chance he did this to put pressure on Congress to pass gun control legislation. It's that kind of illogical thinking that's put our Nation in it's current irrational coma.

I love it when someone accuses me of illogical thinking without providing any reason why they think it's illogical. That's what Twitter is for it seems.
