I went to high school in the 90s in Small Town, Southern USA. People has gun racks in their trucks with rifles in them in the school parking lot. No armed security. No metal detectors. No locked doors. We didn't do this crap. But we also weren't full of meds.

Actually the medication prescribed is the real issue only exacerbating the issue. Dealing with the root cause is the only way to treat. Drugging is not the answer.

It's not an issue I don't think so much with mental health..... I think it's an issue where we have been destroying our country for decades.... But just like any cycle it will bottom and turn... Unfortunately likely from ashes

HS I was on the rifle team, we took our rifles to school for practice afterwards. We kept them in our trunks w/ ammo. No one ever got shot, boys carried knives to school, no one ever got stabbed! Whole different kind set, values and problem solving skills!
