My parents, then in their 50s, and my sister all lost their jobs during the “Great Recession.” It took my mom 3+ years to get another job. My dad never had a job with benefits again (he died in 2017). My sister went back to college to enter the medical field. Mahr can go to Hell.

This is why I hate Maher as a face of liberals. I don’t like Trump a bit but i would never root for economic failure or his failure to “get him out.” We don’t benefit from that. Just a terrible take.

When I was little, my dad lost his job, too. We were on food stamps & I had a lunch ticket at school because we were poor. My mom took a job at fast food restaurant to help. Eventually, my dad got a job again. Nobody wants to be poor. Jobs jobs jobs! Changes ppl’s lives for good.
