I'm willing to pretend to take your numbers at face value, the operative word being obvious there. I'm most amused by the idea, as OP suggests, that Bezos would have to sell off his public assets to do this...which would create quite a few problems as mentioned above.

Many of his assets are in real estate. Which there should be no problem selling off. Also do you not think demand for AMZN stock, the second most profitable company on Earth, is not through the roof? He could sell them off in a staggered fashion.

This is the ultimate teach a man to fish scenario. By your rather flimsy projection, Bezos can feed the world for what? 10 years? And by then all of the corruption, graft, greed, and loopholes plaguing the impoverished will just be sorted out?

Amazon isn’t a monopoly. It’s a hybrid form of governance. A corporate-organized World dominant capitalist entity; that is literally above being taxed because it’s more Powerful than any nation state.

There are communities in northern Canada that benefit more from Amazons free shipping than they have by the Canadian government.
