Quit 12 years ago and feel great ...but no regrets I’m 66 and quit at 54 ...if you drink into your 60s heavily the clock ticks faster ,unless your Sinatra
I've never heard someone say they felt *worse* after giving up alcohol (after withdrawal phases).

It’s not enough to just pour out ones drink...you need to refill that empty glass with clean cool water. Pray for the obsession to be lifted, find a fellowship of like-minded people, be of service. That’s the way out.

19 years this Labor day. I'd be dead or in jail if I hadn't quit. If people knew the life I live, they'd be knocking down my door wanting to know how I did it.

I’m 22 days with no alcohol. I’m a different person according to my wife. I’m feeling better and better everyday! My body is in shock. More than a decade of abusing my body with any and all the above. Woke up the 7th of July and said I’m DONE! And I meant it!!! Thank GOD!
