Check out "The Founding Myth" by Andrew Seidel & then "The Hidden History of Guns and the Second Amendment" by Thom Hartmann... the second one I just finished last week and read "The Founding Myth" last month.

Most of it I was already familiar with so it was a good review mixed with a few new bits of info here and there. Basically shadow men as in those behind the curtain of global events etc. not mind control in something like marketing etc. so it depends on your interest

Considering when it was written it is so good. Before most of the info was known. Highly recommend, however it is like a textbook size.
