@PreetBharara was head of SDNY from 2009 to 2017.
Which means he could have charged Epstein for 2002 crimes in 2017, just as SDNY is doing in 2019.

Also, who’s to say this could’ve been charged before? Unless this guy knows something about the evidence that we don’t, he can’t possibly say that.
Just spitballing here, but isn't it the job of journalists to ask why SDNY sat on this until a few days ago, only AFTER the Second Circuit ordered records be unsealed thanks to my lawsuit.

Again, how do you know they “sat on it?” You don’t know when they had a sufficient amount of chargeable evidence. Have you ever prosecuted a case? Do you know what goes into that process & decision?

The fact that a search warrant was just approved means that new - NEW - evidence has come to light. Allow me to explain that concept. You see, new means it’s new. It’s not old, it’s new. So like, it was 2019 new, not 2002 new.
