Do I like that Trump took a picture with a monster who will use it for propaganda purposes? No. Do I recognize that every “expert” predicted nuclear war with North Korea? Yes. These matters are complicated and it’s rational to hold multiple feelings simultaneously.

Obama met with dictators so I follow the, “If you didn’t have anything to say then I’m not interested in hearing it now.” And Kim / NK is uniquely evil in an era where “monster” has lost meaning as even mean tweets are monstrous.
