I don't drink a lot of coffee but need things like soda and other stuff that contains it. I know it's bad for the body but I work from 4 AM to 1, and then work on my own projects at home. Feels like a necessity.

I quit for 6 months once. It wasn’t hard. The hard part was finding meaning in life afterwards. It felt like unnecessary punishment. Deprivation. Worth the experiment but not worth continuing.

I can quit caffeine for 30 days and more. About 17 years ago, I quit caffeine (coffee, tea). Stayed that way for 8 years. Currently, if I drink more than 1 cup (8 fluid oz) of coffee/tea a day, I get jittery.
