Ditto to almost everything she said. I feel like we are being brainwashed into believing humans are a cancer and children are a nuisance. But we have humanist roots. Humans=great! & Kids are A LOT of fun, especially if you have the youthful energy to engage.

Glad we had ours early. Kids are grown, started their own lives and wife and I are enjoying empty nest while we are still in prime years.

Totally agree about the flashy wedding part. People go into extreme debt just to please other people on their big day. But this world is overpopulated and unhappy. The last thing we need is more emotionally damaged kids and shitty parents. Don’t have kids if you don’t want kids.

Seriously. Listen kids. I waited until 30+ for kids. I’m just so tired. You’ll never be as energetic or as good a parent as in your twenties.

I had a friend in college who planned to have her children early. Sounded like a good plan to me so I had mine while I was still young enough to run after them. Glad I did it that way.

Physically, it's better in your twenties. You have more energy and can recover from the physical demands. And you can play more with the kids.

She is right.

She has regrets that she didn’t do it earlier, because she didn’t meet the right guy. It’s better to have kids when your young-not teenage young, but by late 20’s to get started. It takes a lot of energy to be a parent! I’m glad my husband and I had our four by 35.

I never have understood the big weddings. Seems like a waste of money.
