        Well, OK. You would have to draft that quite rigorously to cover shares, derivatives etc and disincentivive moves to put lower paid employees into spinoff companies to avoid their being counted

        Besides the anti-free-market aspect, it'd just: - Create new roles - Create new compensation schemes - Send companies and talent overseas - Send money into tax-free/retirement haven countries

        this idea is perfect. since unions wont come back this will help protect workers, I would even go lower but 50 is a good phase-in

        Interesting idea. Wondering if w automation though ceo might just fire blue collar workers to push median up and collect more comp. pairing this w incentives to hire workers/maintain staff could help protect against downside.

        Meh. I am a union worker. Also have a hell of a wage gap between bottom and top. Also have an huge wage gap between the workers/union reps WE pay.

        Free medical care to poor citizens via public hospitals/doctors, but part of the VA system. ALL politicians and their staff MUST use this same medical system. Similar to military, free med/nurse school in exchange for XX years working in in system.
