I dont like when people burn the flag I never would but in America they have the right to do so even if I disagree , Id rather Know who hates America ,This exposes them

What is taken from one will inevitably be taken from everyone. The Founding Fathers hoped we would understand and protect the republic so briefly established. Honorable people do not need a symbol to be honorable. Truth, honor & respect are inside an individual, or not at all.

I think that it is perfectly okay for people to burn the American flag while living in the USA, but only if they soak it thoroughly in gasoline and wrap it around themselves before setting it on fire.

That's why "open dialog" is so important when it comes to solving problems. Closing off dialog is the first sign that you have a problem on your hands that very well could spiral out of control.

divided on the issue, national symbols are "sacred",flag anthem,bald eagle etc. That said personally i dont think it should be illegal but those that do burn the flag should be ostracized by society severely

Oh I didn't get why Trump brought it up until now. To get Democrats to show the country how strongly they feel about being able to burn the American flag, despite showing no interest in free speech otherwise.

How does one dispose of a tattered worn out American flag? Burn it is the correct answer. It is a symbol, not an idol. What it represents is a thousand times more important than the cloth.

Mm what happens if one burns, say, the Koran, on the Capitol steps? Equal protection?
