To be fair, the show Scare Tactics had similar premise. Nobody was outraged. Seems like reason for Twitter mob to get riled up. Always certain element of dickery when involving pranks. But we still laugh

Cant blame a kid who grew up rich and making millions to understand lol , it's more on the adults that went along with the idea imo

This is a set-up for the following Netflix series where people who were duped by Netflix take revenge on the producers who "prank'd" them by "prank kidnapping" them & making the producers think they're about to be killed, but at the end they say, "We were just kidding."

There's a reason I cancelled my Netflix ages ago.

I'm guessing here...but surely anyone on the show would have signed a release and got paid. The publicity might even get them a real job. (Does feel a bit 'exploity' though).
