Looks like the jury awarded approx ~3% of the endowment. Big deal they have to forfeit one year of investment returns. Will be tough to argue "poverty" on appeal .

Students and tax payers will pay for the lawsuit through increased tuition. The "University" (professors, admins) will pay nothing, have no skin in the game, and no incentive to alter their behavior.

I sure hope that the individuals that made up the hoax will be punished instead of only the school. They need to pay reparations to the bakery, imo.
