LivePD had an instance where a guy called on a woman for domestic violence. He showed his injuries and she had none. Cops arrested her. Cops show back up later because a superior has reversed their decision after talking to the woman and he is now under arrest and she is free.

  I think that's police policy; they remove the most "prominent" threat from the household, and that is virtually always going to be the man, even if the woman is clearly the aggressor.

  I have watched many first court appearances in my county and women are arrested at least 25% of the time. One woman was arrested for throwing a paper plate because of mandatory arrest laws.
