I truly believe verbal and mental abuse of men (from women) is far higher. I also think in many domestic violence cases in which the man is in trouble...a lot of things happened leading up to that point of him snapping. Also men are slapped and punched all the time.

I don’t think this rises to abuse unless it’s a pattern of behavior. All of us can be like this on an especially bad day.

Ironically they consider it emotional abuse when a man does it to a woman though.

My ex wife was verbally abusive. Tried to bait me into fights many times. But damn she had some fire

Oh it's abuse unless he did some real heinous stuff.. In which case it's abuse that he deserves. I can't know either way because I was not there.

That young man’s body language says it all. He’s broken.

He probably doesn’t know what to do. Doubt he has a present father as has been discussed, but I doubt he has any real masculine role model in his life either. You have to intentionally search for that on YT/social media. Won’t find it anywhere in pop culture. All children there.

It's abuse if she's choosing to be in a relationship with him. But... what if they're not together and share custody of a child and he's doing shitty stuff?

I am not saying this is not abuse. I am saying there is not enough data to solve for X. People have the right to be this angry, and express it; Under a few unlikely (but possible) circumstances.

Half of my dv cases are women perpetrators and guy’s embarrassed about it. Often times someone else calls 911 after witnessing something similar but physical. There are lots of factors to consider when prosecuting a dv case, but you don’t get a pass for being a female.

I noticed people tell you that without context you have no idea if she is being abusive. For all you know that guy could have been a complete stranger harrassing her throughout the night and you are watching her tell him off.

People argue, sometimes vociferously. I'm not sure you can draw too many conclusions from one short clip. Lots of men just ignore women when they're having a raging paddy. If roles were reversed, it would look worse, sure, because males are usually more powerful physically.

Yup abuse from females is just as ugly as from males. Forget the gender.

hurts because you’re likely in an abusive relationship and won’t admit it.
Abuse is equal among the sexes. The types of abuse vary but men
face it and you need to get out of it.
