This is emotional abuse, but society doesn’t treat it that way. And if he had tried walking away, she’d have grabbed him and gotten violent. If he shoved her away, jail time. Lived with that for a long time. Felt like a hostage because I had kids with the person. Kids grew up and I’m free of it forever. New life. Getting better all the time. 20 years of hell though. Kids are free too. Youngest is Infantry, married and has a good life.

Can confirm this exact type of emotional abuse from women. Most often entirely unprovoked. Unfortunately the dating pool of modern American women is filled with this type. Massively under represented on in the mainstream narrative. It's a real problem. This is toxic behavior.

Really? My wife screams and calls me shit all day and in front of my kids. It's constant and she will follow me around when I try to leave until I have to leave the house for hours.
