People are terrible with thinking about the second and third level consequences of their actions. Climate Change is an example where some of these “solutions” will be as bad or worse than the problem they are trying to solve.

This is what is happening now with viruses. Too many antibiotics created unstoppable super-bugs.

Are you saying the same overlords who were responsible for mass public sprayings of DDT dont have the best track record for determining environmental public good?

Fortunately they stopped using DDT and millions of people around the world died as a result from malaria.

But not here in the great USA am I right?

You are right, there are not 1 size fits all solutions for environmental management (Im also in canada, a place very similar to the US in how DDT was also misused by the state, but different in how the major political party colours are inverted and how we have even less malaria)

I’m sorry I didn’t mean any offense. I just want people to be cognizant that the decisions being made on matters like this have real consequences.
