The real mystery in the Buzzfeed / Shapiro story is - Who is Asbestos Peter? The vandal describes him as their handler, he taught them to make napalm and incited the attack. But the feds sent the kid away to prison for 3 years rather than use him to help find "Peter."
Was “Asbestos Peter” a random troll, a foreign agent working on behalf of a state action, or ...? The Feds have shown no interest in tracking down “Peter,” who orchestrated the entire attack.
A worthy FOIA request to the FBI - Any and all documents referencing “Asbestos Peter.”
Whoever finds out who "Asbestos Peter" is in for a real fight.

You are correct. We no longer have a free and independent press that is a fact reporter to the public. Therefore, the people trust no reporting agency and left to learn real info on their own. No small task.
Woah, I see what you mean now. This brings to light your point on conservatives just commenting and not investigating. It’d be fair to say that these extremes reflect the near end of their power to influence.
