As a kid my socks had to be lined up a certain way; could feel the stitches, and tags on shirts were a menace. Had to have them ripped out. With my own daughter, I see it already. She gets super hyped and then slight stutters. People who didn’t grow up gifted or read Dabrowski would think “stutter,” but it’s actually Overexciteability. And you deal with it with breath control and other methods.

I would sing to my girls every night & they would pick, usually a Disney Princess song until they realized that Bruce’s Thunder Road is really long. So they always picked that &called it Mary’s song. I changed some words. But it still gives me goosebumps. Precious times -savor it

Wow thank you for this. I’ve never read it. My son is the same. If his socks aren’t lined up perfectly he starts to cry when he puts his shoes on, tags cut off everything. he had the same stutter when he was 3. Needless to say he is wise beyond his years.
