I’m not a sentimental guy but if you have kids, this movie will make the room feel awfully dusty. https://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/the-little-prince-2016 …

As a kid my socks had to be lined up a certain way; could feel the stitches, and tags on shirts were a menace. Had to have them ripped out. Years later read Dabrowski and it all made sense. https://www.greenwichschools.org/uploaded/district/curriculum/alp/Dabrowski's_Overexcitabilities_(Stephanie_Tolan_Linda_Silverman).pdf …

With my own daughter, I see it already. She gets super hyped and then slight stutters. People who didn’t grow up gifted or read Dabrowski would think “stutter,” but it’s actually Overexciteability. And you deal with it with breath control and other methods.

Yes,indeed. Gifted literature based on Dabrowski's overexcitabilities is largely based on Piechowski's interpretations of Dabrowski's work, but unfortunately he places insufficient emphasis on disintegration, the most critical part of the concept& so must read Dabrowski's books

Oh shit. I'm still tortured by shirt tags and I can't not react to external stimuli (which is why working open offices is like torture to me). Gotta read this stuff. Will come back later with feedback.
