What if we couldn’t buy cheap goods from China and instead had real jobs for Americans with real benefits.

Speaking of which, Its amazing to me Henry Kissinger never gets brought up anymore. IMO unless people focus in on Kissinger and his war crimes, none of the other dominoes of the Military Industrial Complex and secret surveillance state will fall. He is still alive!!!

Americans would have to be OK with short term price spikes on a lot of goods. No more Walmart bullshit China prices. But, long term... the upside benefits are limitless.

Stuff would cost more. Amazon would make less money. Amazon and delivery companies would presumably hire fewer US workers. But it might be a net benefit to US workers.

First, amend the lobbying laws. The source, shyster lobbying law firms & I usually use 90% as a figure, of legislation. Then do the term limit thing. Then get the Federal Reserve banks out of the US Treasury, and you have a great start!!!

5)..I'm not an educated man, Mike. But anyone with half a brain can see the reason Congress doesn't care about controlling spending is #1, they can't #2, they would lose all of that money from lobbyists!

And we absolutely manufacture to protect the environment, unlike China that doesn’t care what they destroy -pollution, dumping in the ocean, chemicals that kill practically all the birds...

People would be able to get better jobs. People would learn new skills that are disappearing in manufacturing, like running CNC machines. People who have useless college degrees would get to actually use them and can begin paying it back instead of working Starbucks.

Yup. Consumer prices in Norway are expensive. Yet Norway tops per capita income and citizen benefits. America becoming a land of middlemen while real production spreads to other places.

The world would be a better place. When you hear a politician say that cheap goods from China are needed for Americans know they would have voted against the 13th ammendment. When the economy trumps human dignity and rights, that's not the right side of history

Then those cheap goods would simply be made in Vietnam. Economies of scale and specialisation cannot be defied

Does the Fed or minimum wage exist in this hypothetical situation? If so... Then everything would just be more expensive. If not... Could be great.
