Studying epidemiologist. A main factor in the decline of infectious diseases in the US was sanitation improvements and waste mgmt. But vaccines also had a huge help considering it protects those who are vulnerable.

Also if we are so afraid of measles outbreaks, why doesn't the government require Pharma to create a MEASLES VACCINE?!? We haven't had one in over 10 years. My niece is 13 years old. She got a REAL measles vaccine - separate, single dose. Merck stopped making it, all 4 money $$$
-
We keep discovering more & more fraud with the MMR everyday. Now Merck's getting ready to lose their patent on the MMR, GSK has their own MMR coming to market soon. And now we see this HUGE FRENZY to get as many MMR's injected into everyone BEFORE GSK get's their MMR to market

"Merck has been in court for over eight years due to scientists blowing the whistle on Merck’s fabrication and falsification of the effectiveness of the mumps component of its MMR vaccine."https://childrenshealthdefense.org/news/vaccines/mmr-vaccines-poison-pill-mumps-after-puberty-reduced-testosterone-and-sperm-counts/ …

While measles cases remained high until the vaccine was introduced, deaths had decreased dramatically due to cleanliness and indoor plumbing. Also, the MMR vaccine has different ingredients than the original measles vaccine.pic.twitter.com/Az55d51l0x

My 6 siblings and I had the measles in the fifties. We stayed home from school, rested and read books. And we got lifelong immunity. I rather be in bed sick for one week than have a lifelong debilitating and costly illness.pic.twitter.com/tFfEuXwZfk

Yes. But those are death numbers. Not outbreak numbers. People died of tooth infections in the early 1900’s.

Doesn’t include permanent side-effects which can be worse than death

My sister showed me similar numbers related to polio from the cdc website. Apparently it was in massive decline before the vaccine was introduced iirc. Haven’t looked at the date closely myself.

My quick research confirms this. Only looking at the deaths doesn't paint the whole picture though. Measles can bring many complications like a swollen brain.

So can the vax...

Yes. That's why the risk evaluation is so difficult.

Yes, this is from the book “Vital Statistics Rates in the United States” starting on Table 65 (pages 559-596): https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/vsus/vsrates1940_60.pdf …

Yes. And check out Bigtree's recent FOIA request re: MMR testing. It was tested only about 800 patients for 44 days. HALF of them developed severe gastrointestinal issues. Any issues beyond 44 days they attributed to anything else but the MMR.

I'm not a germaphobe but I play one on TV. I hardly ever get sick. Disease knowledge and hygiene probably did the most to prosper God's evolution.

Like any other drug/device/product, not all vaccines are the same. Conjugated HIB vaccine introduced in 80’s undoubtedly reduced incidence of HIB disease in kids under 5. From 20,000 cases per year to less than 50. https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/pinkbook/downloads/hib.pdf …
