Men are either high status or low status with basically no in between. This is why women find 20% of men above average in attractiveness, and much of it is status based. Pecking order is high status men -> all women -> low status men.

Society does not give a shit about low status men. The cultural narrative around gender is that women need to be empowered, the future is female, masculinity is toxic, etcetera. Men can live without status, but they cannot live without the prospect of status.

More than 70% of teachers and psychologists are female. Mens mental health and behavior is held up against women's as a standard despite the fact our hormones drive us to behave differently. Men are far more likely to engage in physical aggression, whereas women aggress socially.

Men used to have much more purpose. Numerous studies have shown men live longer when they have a purpose. These days men’s only purpose is to pretend to be everything they don’t want or desire to be. It’s all about women’s rights, LGBTQ rights, race rights but no men’s rights!!

I can’t go into details but he was an engineer who was on jobless stint and his wife owns a lucrative small business. He apparently felt he was useless and was very depressed leading up to the event. Very nice guy, nice home etc. Men need to feel needed.
