Yeah, I don’t think Shapiro et al would have any reaction short of apoplectic if CJ had used Jewish slurs 50 times and offered a lukewarm apology and sought to remain in Conservative, Inc. good graces.

They’d be mad either way. He gets a lot of hate for calling out left racism, to expect none for calling out the right would be asking a bit much.

What’s interesting is this is a healthy debate to have actually. What is the appropriate apologizing? Who is the one who arbitrates the apology? To what degree is there growth from the guilty party and such? A forum such as twitter gives little nuance to such an important topic.

I’ve never heard of Kyle Kashuv, but I’ve heard of @TheMikelCrump and @thecjpearson, and I like what you guys have to say. It’s terrible when people lump us together based on skin color, and especially to do so disrespectfully. If Kyle has a following, perhaps he should lose it.

What's sad is that a genuine apology would end this. I don't think the right advocates cancel culture like the left does, and I don't think people who are bothered want to see Kyle fail. They just want to believe we're better than this, and that people we exalt know we're better.

I don’t think people are mad, just confused at CJs lack of anger towards rappers who say the same thing. The word needs to be squashed. Maybe a CJ/Kyle summit to talk it out. We can all grow from this.
