I'd only read books.

And how much of the books did you wish you retained vs what you actually did

I think it's sort of like veggies... we know we should feel guilty for the milkshake and virtue signal about the veggies.

But I realized after a few of your posts that you were sorta comparing current non fiction books and yeah, twitter and youtube do an arguably better job. But fiction is where it's at and nothing replaces it yet.

I don't get lost in reading tweets though, different experience Reading 4 books at once, some fiction, some ref/non fiction that dont need page-page engagement i used to use phone app more but have reduced reading Hoaxed on phone and tbh Id rather turn pages than swipe

Nothing can beat cracking open a book, and getting lost in that world.

I love Twitter. Follow great people who I’ve learned a ton from. Grateful for that. But I love books/will stay hungry for the stories, feelings, knowledge only books deliver/Just finished “Mere Christianity” by C.S. Lewis. started Crazy Love” by Francis Chan. Chan is amazing!

You set us up for this... smart. What finance books would you recommend?

Twitter makes it easy to read 10 words at a time. It's hard to read a book that way.
