This is happening in cities across America. There seems to be a race to the bottom. It's 'cool'.
Nothing beats Copenhagen
We went the same flat each trip. Down by Tivoli. And I love Christiania
Yeah, Apple's comin' to Austin bigtime real soon. Me & POSSQL are looking for a place in the country that we can turn into a family compound. Away from the Californiation of this place ...
They already destroyed austin with traffic and 500k people in 10 years.
I remember the Austin of my late teens/early 20s. so very different. Seattle used to be very similar to Austin - odd/kooky, but so fun... Watching Seattle politics for the last 5-10 years, it appears there's a desperate attempt to catch up w/SF.
Copenhagen is beautiful and it’s people are beautiful. The best city I have ever visited
Hard truth right here.
It’s funny how people consistently use SF as examples of failed civilization when the highest rates of obesity and the worst education systems are all in the South. I didn’t want to go there but y’all keep knocking CA!!! We aren’t perfect but put some respek on our name.pic.twitter.com/uEkNOstrlX
Just left Copenhagen and though smaller than San Fran, it is a pleasant city. Copenhagen is a nicer city to live in but if I had a choice I would still pick San Francisco because it’s in U.S. I Love the USA. We have a best country in the world.
Maybe it’s more about competence, a sense of community and/or work ethic than political philosophy. I don’t think Copenhagen is known for its conservative political views. The Danish people are just working harder to keep cities livable than we are.
