Poor people looooooove holding other poor people down. None of the woke socialists ever talk about that As they didn’t grow up poor. Rich people ain’t perfect but poor people truly are nasty to one another.

It’s a logical fallacy, they’re desperate. Your assumption that both classes can be compared is inherently flawed based on the premise that the rich are the same as the poor except they have more money. Dude, money changes EVERYTHING.

Exactly. Takes people out of fight or flight mode. That alone is a monumental difference.

That's very true. I grew up poor similarly to you (hardworking decent parents, no booze no cheating) but was often chastised for working 80 hours a week to get out. Told I was never going to make it or asked why I thought my family wasnt good enough to stay with. Painful memories

I feel that. When I started my company every single member of my family treated it like it was some flea market crap and that it would fail before it started. Now I have customers in over 20 countries and my family wrote me off. No skin off my teeth.

Poor people play keepin up with Jones’ just like rich people, that’s what keeps them poor 😂 I’m poor btw. Poor people are better at minding their own business in the neighborhood but my house has been broken into several times, by other poor people obviously...

Come down to South Africa. Having a maid is common for middle class families. Ours has been with us for longer than I've been alive, so she's family. We buy her nice things and freely give away furniture and appliances we replace. Others will shun her out of sheer envy

That's not entirely true. I've been poor, flat broke, even homeless at one point in time. If it wasn't for other poor people helping me lift myself up, I don't know what would've happened to me. But the majority of them fit your description.

Maybe not the particular people you speak of, but I’ve found in general poor people want to (or say they want to) help other poor people, but not too much, and become strangely resentful if you become successful.

That is the thing, jealousy. They'll help each other out while they're all destitute, but not too much. And if one of them succeeds and rises out of those ashes, they tend to show resentment due to jealousy. Envy ruins good character and leads to poor behavior.

Would love to hear some real life examples of that. Most poor people I know give graciously what very little they have because they know first hand the difficulty in being poor.

Scarcity mentality. The great anchor around the neck of almost every poor person... Mindset determines reality.
