Why don’t pro illegal immigration folks bring them to their own houses?

The barriers to adoption in the US are ridiculous. Many couples go abroad to adopt because it's easier and cheaper. US children have been "priced out of the market" so to speak.

they do...when the Haiti disaster happened, I knew a lot of people that adopted orphaned children also people adopted kids from Ethiopia that didn't have parents due to AIDS crisis.

What about fostering?

I got my kids from Costco, saved a ton.

Gov oversight and expense in adoption means average people have hard time qualifying to adopt.

My sister and brother in-law foster trying to adopt. It’s not as simple as going to a shelter and picking out a new dog. They foster kids long enough to get attached and then the state gives them back to the drug addict bio parents.

really wish people would talk more about $ of adoption and fertility ..... wife and I paid $28k for our fertility and are so blessed w/ our baby girl. Bro/sis-n-law have paid $45k for their 2 adoptions - both are incredible blessings! Our collective stories make me pro-life.

Not only that, curtailing abortioins would bring the adoption supply in alignment with demand, decrease child deaths, create happier families. The downside is: when adoption agencies only work for money, they mismatch babies in wrong families.

Because they have kids the old fashioned way.

They should be able to write off the whole amount on their taxes.

The more you learn about it, the more the adoption industry starts to feel like human trafficking.
