Not sure if that's true, but that's even dumber than just giving out free money. Because that would mean the government is paying you to essentially pay itself on top of rampant inflation. Not to mention anyone over 18 getting UBI...meaning millionaires, billionaires, etc...

Wouldn’t call him an idiot. As far as UBI goes, he makes a solid point, but he makes the point before society really needs it. He’s thinking too far ahead. Like... about 50-100 years ahead.

So the most elaborate and well thought out plans with nifty graphs created by nice people are still destructive garbage when based on incorrect assumptions. UBI is socialism in a pretty new package.

Milton Friedman also supported the Fed and other silliness. I'd take Rothbard over Friedman any day. That's the problem with many of the Chicago School economists; they try to justify free economics within a framework of centralized repression.

Well there isn’t an economist or politician that I fully agree with. I would just like to be on a realistic path to dismantling the welfare and warfare state as they currently exist. Also, navigating the 4th Industrial Revolution is imperative.
