I've started reading (with a book) for 10 pages before bed. It's a good ritual.

It really is. EZ to fall asleep after reading. Try 10 pages in AM right after u rise - it’s like a brain supercharge

Books are more personable and you can engage more when reading. I love the touch and feel of books and the smell of the pages as you continue forth. Book`s were one of the only sources of information before the internet. We have been spoiled by the amount we can now look up.

I spend my commutes to work and gym reading books (1.5 hours a day). 30 minutes on Twitter, tops. More than that, I expect a certain quality from books. I expect quality from tweets, which is why I follow certain people, but it's a lower standard.

Eg I like your tweets Mike, but I look forward to your books. I expect a more complete idea to be discussed in a book, and the effort to show, and to be worth my time. Plus old epic poems aren't available in Tweet form.

I read a book every day of my life. For at least an hour. I might spend an hour on Twitter sometimes, but I'd prefer books everyday. I don't think you think enough of your loyal followers, me included.
