The funny thing is that the first time through something new, everyone feels fear. It's the second and third time through something new that the fear is almost non existent, even from day one. Amazingly, this little push outside the secure box is life altering in a good way.

In 1984 I watched my wife of 5 years go into a diabetic reaction. 2 days later I had to turn the life support machines off. I was 24 and our son was 3 months old. Every single day since then has been better than those few days. Every day.
