I read books from the kindle app on iPhone usually but am looking at the physical kindle. Do you use one and if so which is the best?

Get the paperwhite. Better for your eyes.

I use a paperwhite, because it looks like a real book and you can read it with sunglasses on, and also in bright sunlight it looks the same as indoors, unlike my phone.

It's cute that he thinks he won't have his iPhone in the other hand! That's why I like an iPod and a kindle - Reading and music require attention, no possible with a mobile data device (I've binned the mobile phone a year ago)

Paperwhite is simple and the brightness control is great for reading before bed

Paperwhite. It really is superior to a tablet for the reasons people have said. Much easier on the eyes for sure.

Yes. Paperwhite - way less strain on the eyes than an iPhone, much prefer it. No idea about the other models tbh. It's not as comfortable in the hand as a book, mind, for longer muti-book sessions - I've put one of my daughters pop socket things on the back which helps a lot.

I got the Mrs. a paperwhite recently. She likes it. I use a Nook glowlight and as far as I can find there is no Amazon equivalent. I will say that eink is kinder on the eyes than LCD so your eyes will thank you once you buy one.

I bought one a couple of years ago. Having an actuall book with real pages keeps me more enganged than a kindle. Flipping through pages on kindle isn’t the best experience. I would say buy the one w the bigges screen

I actually use an old android 6.5" device with the "Moon+ reader pro" app. It runs books flawlessly on .epub , PDF, word and makes them all feel like kindle ebooks And I buy and store my books on PC and arrange them using https://calibre-ebook.com/ pic.twitter.com/MWTBnulstK
