The Alabama heartbeat law is the first big win the pro-life movement has had in decades. The pro-choice movement was already maxed out on enthusiasm. This law won’t get them more supporters. This law - tho will be stuck down in court - is incredible momentum for pro-lifers.

It's not a federal law. It'll have to go to the Alabama supreme court, before it can be made a federal case. It'll eventually make it to scotus.

Do you think so? I'm curious if you think not including the rape/incest exception will be seen as too radical & alienate moderates. Even some Republicans are opposed. I realize what they were doing, however, in writing the bill to go to SCOTUS.
