Why would the tech companies be giving in to pressure from the media? I don't understand that. It seems like they don't need any prompting in carrying out their censorship agenda.

80 % of traffic or so of classic media is originating or passing through tech channels. They are both dependent and influential as huge customers for the tech companies. By tech don’t think internet specifically google Twitter Facebook and their subsidiaries.
