Reminds me of the statin debate in The Lancet. The CV surgeon said they were overprescribed/caused myopathy. The editor of the paper called for his medical license. Lo and behold the editor held a patent for genetic testing to predict which pt’s would suffer statin myopathy.

It is settled science, though, that there is one born every minute so we know that sales shall continue...

Seems people are not allowed to question research in psychology, science etc. But how many going through a university psychology program think they can survive a math and physics program? Even in the math and physics program 100 may enter and only about 10 will make it through.

All the testable evidence related to climate change points to the null hypothesis. No amount of belief establishes any fact.

I've read that stagnation in the advancement of physics has driven people who would have otherwise been involved in these programs into biology. That may be just more speculation or it might be a very good thing for medicine.
